Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how the process works and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — From inside the app (recommended)

  1. 1.Open the app
  2. 2.Go to Settings → Account
  3. 3.Tap "Delete account"
  4. 4.Confirm your choice

Option 2 — By email

If you've already uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us at support@cliqueventures.co from the email address associated with your account. Include the subject line "Account deletion request."

We'll verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

The following data is permanently and irreversibly deleted:

  • Your account profile (name, email address)
  • Profile photo and any photos you uploaded
  • Plans you created and your RSVP history
  • Cliques you created or belonged to
  • All chat messages you sent in plans and cliques
  • Friends and follower connections
  • App preferences and settings
  • Authentication credentials
  • Usage data tied to your account

What we retain, and why

A limited amount of data may be retained after deletion:

  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data — this cannot be linked back to you
  • Records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes — retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law
  • Backup copies, which are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle

How long it takes

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete. Backup copies containing your data are fully purged within 30 days.
